Max River, a talented actor from Atlanta, has been captivating audiences since the tender age of eight. With a plethora of performances under his belt, he has appeared in over seventeen community theatre productions, as well as five professional regional theatre productions. His impressive resume boasts a staggering number of nominations, including two Metropolitan Atlanta Theatre Awards for Best Youth Actor, which he won in 2010.
Max's foray into the world of film began with his debut in "The Therapist" (Campus Movie Fest/Ga Tech),a critically acclaimed production that won the prestigious Best Picture award and was subsequently selected for the coveted Short Film Corner at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. Since then, he has appeared in a total of four films, two television commercials, a web series, multiple industrials, and music videos.
When not treading the boards, Max is a skilled musician, proficient in playing the mandolin, banjo, and guitar. He is a member of a bluegrass band and also performs in a duo called COPPER RIVER. In his free time, Max enjoys engaging in various outdoor activities, such as white water rafting, camping, hiking, running, swimming, fishing, biking, and archery. He is also an avid swordsman and has even competed in the Pokémon Regional Championships, placing a respectable fifth, and the National Championships, where he finished thirty-fourth.
Max is a dedicated student, attending the Georgia Cyber Academy (home school) and maintaining an impressive academic record, with all A's in advanced and honors classes. He has been a part of the DUKETIP (Talent Identification Program) since the fifth grade and has also joined the National Beta Club in eighth grade. Furthermore, he has been recognized for his outstanding academic achievements by the state of Georgia.
