Biography

Maurizio's academic journey began when he earned a degree in sociology from McGill University in 1997, marking the start of a new chapter in his life. However, his plans took an unexpected turn in March 1998 when his band, Friends Of Mary, disbanded, prompting him to seek out a new creative outlet.

Maurizio's passion for film and acting was ignited during his time at ASM Performing Arts, where he had the opportunity to work with esteemed coaches, including the renowned Chip Chuipka, movement guru Brian Doubt from Stratford, voice expert Katherine Kennedy, and stage director Peter Hinton.

Over the years, Maurizio has successfully merged his love of film with his passion for food, pursuing a career as a professional chef and cooking instructor. This unique fusion of interests has allowed him to explore new creative avenues and share his talents with others.

Today, Maurizio resides in Montreal with his loving wife and young son, where he continues to nurture his passions and pursue his dreams.
