Matthew Pollino, a multifaceted individual, divides his time between his passion for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts, and his career in the entertainment industry.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Matthew's journey in the entertainment industry began in his hometown before he made the move to Los Angeles in 2001.
Throughout his career, Matthew has had the opportunity to work alongside renowned actors, including Michael Chiklis, Snoop Dogg, Ron Perlman, Noel G., Dolph Lundgren, and Pat Morita, in a variety of film and television projects.
Matthew has been involved in over 13 film projects and 12 TV shows, taking on various roles such as extra, stand-in, choreographer, stunt double, stuntman, co-star, and guest star, as well as recurring roles on The Shield and General Hospital.
In addition to his work in film and television, Matthew has also had the opportunity to work on music videos for prominent artists, including Pink, Jessica Simpson, Faith Evans, and the Las Vegas-based group 702. He was the lead in the music video for Perfect Beings' hit song Fictions, and has also appeared in national commercials for Diet Coke, I Hop, and Nike.
Matthew holds a 1st Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, and is a certified Private Mixed Martial Arts Instructor. He is also proficient in Martial Arts Weaponry, specifically with Nunchaku and Staff, and holds a certification as an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer.
As a full-time Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts Instructor, Matthew specializes in private executive self-defense and fitness for men, women, and children, and is dedicated to sharing his passion for martial arts with others.
