Ryan Evans, a talented individual, was born in Swansea, Wales, to a family of artists. His father, Steve, was a postman turned record producer, and his mother, Maria, was a dance teacher. Growing up, Ryan was exposed to the performing arts from a young age, which would later influence his career path.
Ryan attended schools in Penyrheol, followed by Gorseinon College, where he completed a BTEC Performing Arts course. His passion for the arts led him to pursue higher education at the prestigious Bristol Old Vic, graduating in 2003.
After completing his studies, Ryan joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2004, further honing his craft and gaining valuable experience in the industry. His early start in show business began when he was just a child, playing the role of Gavroche in the West End production of Les Misérables.
As an adult, Ryan's television career took off, with notable roles in the CBS series Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, where he played the character Mick Rawson, and the NBC pilot for Constantine, where he portrayed the titular character John Constantine. He starred in all 13 episodes of the first and only season of the show.
In addition to his television work, Ryan lent his voice and motion capture talents to the video game Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, bringing the character Edward Kenway to life. Ryan's versatility as a performer has led him to take on a wide range of roles, from stage to screen to video games.
Ryan's upcoming projects include reprising his role as John Constantine in an episode of the CW series Arrow, solidifying his status as a talented and in-demand performer in the entertainment industry.
