Matt Frewer has been traveling extensively across North America, taking on recurring roles in various television productions. His recent projects include working in Los Angeles for HBO's Perry Mason and in Austin for AMC's Fear The Walking Dead.
In addition to his television work, Frewer has also appeared in numerous films, including Steven Spielberg's The BFG, 20th Century Fox's Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, 50/50, Foreverland, Frankie & Alice, and Watchmen. He has also appeared in films such as Dawn of the Dead, Attack on Darfur, Wushu Warrior, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, and Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace.
Frewer has starred in several television movies and miniseries, including Nick Willing's Alice, Olympus, Delete, Bag of Bones, Battle of the Bulbs, and Taken. He has also appeared in the Stephen King-scripted ABC miniseries The Stand, playing the role of the "Trashcan Man".
In addition to his television work, Frewer has also made guest appearances on various prime time network television series, including St. Elsewhere, Miami Vice, and Star Trek: The Next Generation. He has also portrayed real-life notable individuals, such as U.S. Ambassador Edwin O. Reischauer in American Playhouse's Long Shadows, Alexander Haig in Kissinger and Nixon, and Gene Kranz in the made-for-television movie Apollo 11.
Throughout his career, Frewer has received numerous awards and nominations, including a Cable Ace and Gemini award.
