Mathias Lundkvist's life story began in Aalborg, Denmark, where he was born to Vibeke, a school teacher, and Erik, a locomotive driver. His passion for acting took root in the third grade, when he participated in a school musical, and was further nurtured through his experiences as a judge and pizza delivery boy in the obligatory fifth grade school comedy. As he grew older, Mathias continued to pursue his theatrical ambitions, primarily taking on rebellious and youthful characters, starting from eighth grade.
He attended Femmøller Efterskole, a music-theatrical prep school, in tenth grade, after which he enrolled in an Aalborgensian high school. During the first two years of his three-year tenure, Mathias also attended Det Hem'lige Teater, located in Aalborg.
In the summer of 2013, Mathias made his amateur film debut in the short film Limbo, and subsequently auditioned for a major Danish picture set during World War II, 9. April, securing the role of Private Kolding.
Today, Mathias resides in Arden.
