Mathew Lipisko, an American film and television actor, was born and raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania, where he began his acting journey as a teenager performing in various stage productions. Throughout his adolescence, he continued to refine his craft, gaining valuable experience on stage. One of his notable performances during this period was as Paul Bratter in Neil Simon's romantic comedy "Barefoot in the Park," where he took on his first lead role.
As he entered adulthood, Lipisko made the decision to relocate to California in 2012 to pursue his acting career in television and film. His breakthrough role came in the same year when he was cast as Sargent Emerson, an Army Recruiting Sergeant, in the award-winning independent film "A Fighting Season." Following the production of "A Fighting Season," Lipisko continued to land smaller roles for the ID Discovery channel and various films produced in Northern California.
In 2015, he landed his first lead role on the TV series "The Day I Almost Died," playing the character Johnathon Metz, a Connecticut man who gets his arm caught in a boiler and must use his wits to survive. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Lipisko continued his acting training, studying at the Ivanna Chubbuck Studio in Southern California and later attending the University of California, Irvine, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Drama with a minor in Education from the Claire Trevor School of the Arts.
