Additionally, she was named by Business Insider as a top 50 PR professional in the tech industry.
As the Founder and General Partner at Day One Ventures, Masha invests in companies that prioritize customer-focused culture and provides strategic communications support to help them grow. The fund has backed a range of successful startups, including Superhuman, DuckDuckGo, Remote, Truebill, Yumi, DoNotPay, MSCHF, Terran Orbital, Arcadia, and others.
Prior to establishing Day One Ventures, Masha worked as an angel investor and founded a PR studio that worked with prominent companies such as Houzz, HotelTonight, and Gett. She also served as the Vice President of Communications at Acronis, a data protection company, where she oversaw PR activities across 18 countries. Previously, she held the position of Head of Communications at Runa Capital, a venture capital firm.
Masha's educational background includes studying at Stanford's VC Unlocked program and obtaining a master's degree in Business and Public Administration from Moscow State University. Throughout her career, she has received numerous accolades, including being the subject of a 2012 Sundance Film Festival award-winning documentary and winning the 2006 All-Russian Olympiads for social science.
