Masashi Nagadoi, a Tokyo-born individual, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and Economics Business from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, in 1987. He was a distinguished member of the International Economics Honor Society, Omicron Delta Epsilon.
Prior to pursuing his graduate studies, Nagadoi worked as a management business consultant at Arthur Young International, now Ernst & Young, in Los Angeles. This experience laid the foundation for his future endeavors.
In the summer of 1985, Nagadoi embarked on a Spanish Language and Cultural Program in Guadalajara, Mexico. The following winter, he traveled to England and France to study European arts, focusing on Impressionism and architecture.
Nagadoi's athletic pursuits include being a selected member of the All-Minnesota Rugby Football team as scrum-half in 1986 and 1987. He participated in the Mid-West National Championship in Kentucky in 1986.
At UCLA's Graduate Film School, Nagadoi received the Motion Picture Association of America Award in 1992. He completed his Master of Fine Arts degree in the spring of 1994.
Since graduating, Nagadoi has directed a short film, a promotional video, and produced numerous television shows, documentaries, commercials, and multimedia projects for the Japanese market. He is currently developing several feature-length projects.
