Mary Tsoni, a talented Greek actress and singer, was born on June 25, 1987. She gained widespread recognition for her captivating performances in films such as Evil (2005),Dogtooth, and Evil: In the Time of Heroes (both released in 2009). Her outstanding portrayal in Dogtooth earned her the prestigious award for Best Actress at the Sarajevo Film Festival, and the film itself received an Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Language Film.
Prior to her acting career, Tsoni was a make-up artist and the lead singer of a punk band called Mary and The Boy. Her multifaceted talents and creative pursuits showcased her versatility and dedication to her craft.
Tragically, Mary Tsoni's life was cut short when she was found dead in her apartment in Exarcheia, Athens on May 8, 2017, just one month shy of her 30th birthday.
