Mary Crosby was born in the City of Angels, Los Angeles, to a renowned father, Bing Crosby, and a talented mother, Kathryn Grant. At the tender age of four, she received her Actor's Equity card, marking the beginning of her illustrious career. Alongside her siblings, she made her first professional appearances on her father's beloved Christmas-season TV specials, which aired during the 1960s and 1970s.
After graduating from high school at an astonishingly young age of 15, Mary enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin, where she became a proud member of the esteemed Delta Delta Delta sorority. Her television credits are numerous and impressive, with a notable role as "Kristin Shepard" on the popular evening soap opera, Dallas, which premiered in 1978.
Mary's feature film repertoire is equally impressive, with notable roles in Henry Jaglom's Eating (1990),The Ice Pirates (1984),Tapeheads (1988),The Legend of Zorro (2005),and more recently, Jaglom's Queen of the Lot (2010),in which she played the role of Peter Bogdanovich's wife. Her stage credits are equally impressive, with notable performances in "The Seagull" (Nina),"As You Like It", "Two Gentleman of Verona", and "Romeo and Juliet".
In addition to her extensive acting credits, Mary has appeared in numerous television shows, including the ABC miniseries, Hollywood Wives (1985),North & South: Book 2, Love & War (1986),and Stagecoach (1986),alongside music legends Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash. Today, Mary resides on a picturesque ranch outside Los Angeles with her family, including her husband, Mark Brodka, and their two sons.
