Biography

Marvin is a multi-award winning writer, actor, producer, and director, renowned for his exceptional work in the entertainment industry.

Marvin's play, "They Have Mayonnaise in Montreal", was adapted into a television series called "Less Than Kind", which aired for four seasons on HBO Canada and The Audience network in the United States. The show received widespread critical acclaim and earned numerous awards, including Geminis, Canadian Screen Awards, and Writers Guild Awards.

In 2017, Marvin's web series, "Hit On Me", won the prestigious Out of The Box competition at the Montreal Just For Laughs festival.

Marvin has also shared his expertise by teaching TV writing at the University of Toronto and directing at the Weengushk Film Institute (WFI),a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering Indigenous youth through film and television training.

As an actor, Marvin has appeared in Guillermo Del Toro's Academy Award-winning film, "The Shape of Water".

In addition, Marvin has lent his voice to various animation and audio-book projects, including Ubisoft's "Assassin's Creed: Odyssey" and Arno Kopecky's "The Environmentalist's Dilemma".
