Marty Sklar

Martin A. "Marty" Sklar was a multifaceted individual with a dual career path as a scriptwriter and construction developer. He held the esteemed position of international ambassador for Walt Disney Imagineering, the renowned subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company responsible for designing and constructing Disney theme parks and resorts globally. Prior to assuming this role, Sklar served as vice president of Concepts and Planning for the company, before being promoted to president, then vice chairman and principal creative executive. Throughout his illustrious career, Disney recognized his immense contributions by dedicating a window at Disneyland in his honor on the occasion of his retirement, which took place on July 17, 2009.
