Martin Harris, a talented Australian stage and screen actor, gained widespread recognition for his iconic portrayal of Kenny in the 1972 film adaptation of David Williamson's play, The Removalists. This remarkable performance solidified his reputation as a skilled thespian. In addition to his work in film, Harris is also notable for being an original cast member of the popular Australian prime-time soap opera, Number 96, where he appeared in 25 episodes as Mark Eastwood. Born in the picturesque beachside suburb of Coogee, Sydney, Martin Harris received his diploma in acting from the esteemed National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in the 1965 graduating class, alongside his lifelong friend and fellow thespian, Helen Morse. Harris had the opportunity to collaborate with David Williamson once more in 1976, starring alongside fellow NIDA graduate John Waters and renowned English actress Susannah York in the film Eliza Fraser.
