Martin Coiffier, a renowned filmmaker, was born in the vibrant city of Paris in 1973. He embarked on a cinematic journey by studying the art of filmmaking for a period of three years within the city's walls. Subsequently, he completed his military service by capturing documentaries for the audiovisual department of the French Marine Corps. This experience undoubtedly honed his skills and laid the foundation for his future endeavors.
In 1996, Coiffier made his mark in the industry by directing the short film "Thank's George". This early success led him to transition into a role as an assistant director and unit manager on feature-length films, working under the guidance of prominent directors such as Bigas Luna, Andre Techine, Philippe De Brocca, and Jacques Monet.
Fast-forward to 2002, Coiffier showcased his talent by directing and producing the short film "The Ace", which garnered numerous accolades in esteemed Spanish film festivals. This achievement served as a springboard for his future projects, as he went on to write two feature-length films, with one of them slated to be his directorial debut (with a planned shooting schedule for August 2005).
