Born in Baghdad, Iraq, Martin spent a significant portion of his childhood in Egypt before relocating to Canada in 1987, which laid the foundation for his profound appreciation for storytelling across cultures, an influence that continues to permeate his work in both on-screen and off-screen endeavors.
Throughout his illustrious career, Martin has had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed directors such as Pawel Pawlikowski, known for his work on the critically acclaimed film "Cold War", and Krzysztof Zanussi, whose notable credits include the war drama "The Perfect Number".
Notable performances by Martin include his portrayal of Dr. Thomas in the popular TV series "Echo of the Heart", which spanned three seasons and aired on TVP, as well as his roles in a Hallmark romance, the war drama "FOX" directed by Ewa Stankiewicz, and the Netflix production "The Taming of the Shrewd", which consisted of two parts and featured Martin as the character Bob.
