Martha, a renowned and accomplished Chief Creative Officer, Natural History & Science, has made a lasting impact in the industry with her extensive experience in producing captivating wildlife and adventure productions. As the head of the 150-strong Natural History department, she oversees the creation of iconic and award-winning series such as Tiny World on Apple TV+, Animal & Night on Earth on Netflix, and Hostile Planet on National Geographic.
Martha's impressive portfolio also includes hosted series, including On The Edge with Alex Honnold on Disney+ and John Bishop's Great Whale Rescue on ITV. Furthermore, she is responsible for heading up the environmental and conservation shows produced by Plimsoll, including Patagonia: Life On The Edge Of The World.
Prior to joining Plimsoll, Martha was a key member of the BBC Natural History Unit, where she contributed to the acclaimed series Blue Planet and Life. With a PhD in marine biology, Martha has a deep understanding of the natural world, which has enabled her to produce a diverse range of commissions.
These commissions include the ocean-based adventure series Chasing Ocean Giants on Discovery+, as well as the celebrity-led series Life at the Extreme with Davina McCall on ITV. Martha has also explored the world of our favorite pets with Dogs: The Untold Story on DNI and Puppy Secrets: The First Six Months on ITV.
