Mark L Rosen, a renowned Academy Award-winning producer, has spent over four decades developing, producing, and distributing feature films and television shows globally. His illustrious career began in Los Angeles, where he worked as a theatrical film buyer for Mann Theaters, overseeing the booking of iconic Grauman's Chinese Theater.
Rosen's extensive experience in the film industry has taken him to various executive positions with prominent companies, including American International Pictures, Bryanston Films, Group One International, Cannon Films, and Powerhouse Films. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for the worldwide production and distribution of films produced by these companies, which have been based in Hollywood, California, New York City, New York, London, England, Florence, Italy, Cannes, France, and Tokyo, Japan.
Mark, affectionately known as "Travelin' Rose" to his associates and friends worldwide, remains actively involved in the development, packaging, production, and/or distribution of feature films, documentaries, television shows, music concerts and specials, DVD programming, and most recently, digital programming for internet streaming.
In 1997, Rosen made history by being the second person worldwide to release a film on DVD, pioneering the new frontier of mass consumption. When asked about his greatest joy during his 40-year tenure in the entertainment industry, Rosen proudly cited his work as the executive producer of "The Wall That Heals" (1997),a television special about the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, our nation's most revered and visited monument in Washington, DC.
