Mark Kandborg is a multifaceted creative individual, boasting a wide range of skills and experiences that set him apart in the entertainment industry. As an actor, writer, and director, he has made a name for himself in various capacities, including location scouting and assistant directing.
Born in Vancouver, Kandborg's journey began when he received a Psychology Degree from the University of Hawaii, where he simultaneously operated a pedicab in Waikiki and drummed for the 80's hairband Looker. This eclectic combination of pursuits laid the foundation for his future endeavors.
As a member of the improv company Scheme-a-Dream, alongside Nathan Fillion and Mark Meer, Kandborg honed his stand-up comedy skills before shifting his focus towards film and television. This transition marked the beginning of a new chapter in his career, as he began to spend equal amounts of time in front of and behind the camera.
Kandborg's directorial debut, the short film All My Sins (2011),was a significant milestone in his career, followed by the successful pilot episode of the Web Series Necessary Evil. He is currently working on a number of screenplays in development, solidifying his reputation as a talented and versatile creative force in the entertainment industry.
