Mark Green, an American actor of Jamaican descent, was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. His early life was marked by a strong passion for performing, which was nurtured through his involvement in school plays and local theatre from the tender age of 10. His Christian upbringing played a significant role in shaping his artistic talents, particularly his musical abilities, which were showcased through his active participation in church activities.
As he progressed through high school, Mark's love for the theatre only intensified, and he began to take on more prominent roles in musicals. This marked the beginning of his journey towards a career in the performing arts. Upon graduating, he enrolled in the dance/theater program at CUNY Lehman College in the Bronx, where he refined his skills as a performer and set his sights on the bright lights of Broadway.
Despite facing a few setbacks during his time on the Broadway scene, Mark remained undeterred and decided to transition to film, a medium that truly resonated with his heart. He threw himself into the auditioning process in New York, gradually building a reputation for himself through his tireless efforts.
Mark's big break came when he landed a role on the popular TV show "The Good Wife," playing the character Dante Wallach. Since then, he has gone on to secure roles on "Casual" (Hulu),"SWAT" (CBS),and several other short films and feature films that are currently in production.
