Biography

Mark Baranowski, a native Buffalonian, spent his formative years residing with his grandparents, a circumstance arising from his parents' divorce when he was still a toddler, and a complicated relationship with both parents that persisted thereafter.

Growing up, Mark's creative inclinations were first sparked by drawing, subsequently evolving into a passion for music. As he entered high school, he began composing songs, primarily in the rap genre, and poetry, releasing a limited number of works throughout the 1990s.

In 1997, Mark, along with a close friend, co-founded Nickel City Records, a venture conceived in tribute to their hometown, Buffalo, affectionately known as the 'nickel city'.

As the turn of the millennium approached, Mark shifted his creative focus towards screenwriting, self-publishing both a novella and a collection of poetry in the early 2000s. Although music still remains an integral part of his life, it is now pursued more as a hobby.
