Marisa Lynae Hampton was born on February 8th, 1999, as the youngest of five siblings, hailing from the great state of Texas.
As a young child, Marisa's parents took her to see the iconic Phantom of the Opera at Dallas Fair Park, where she was mesmerized by the production, sitting on the edge of her seat with her opera glasses and exclaiming "This is amazing!!" with her hand on her heart.
This theatrical experience sparked her passion for the performing arts, and she made her professional stage debut at the tender age of 8 as "Bashful" in Snow White at Casa Manana in Fort Worth, Texas.
Marisa's interest in film began at the age of 12, and she has since continued to explore her talents in various creative outlets. Her educational journey has taken her to the Texas School of the Arts for kindergarten, followed by middle school at Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy, and currently, she is homeschooling.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Marisa is actively involved with her youth group and serves as a member of the praise team, showcasing her vocal talents.
Her favorite subjects are English Language Arts and History, and she is known for setting high standards for herself, often striving for perfection. However, her vocal coach has encouraged her to reframe her mindset, adopting the philosophy of being a woman of excellence, which has helped alleviate some of the pressure she puts on herself.
Ultimately, Marisa's greatest goal is to stay centered in the perfect will of God for her life, recognizing that her talents and gifts come from Jesus, her guiding light.
