Marilyn Ness is a renowned filmmaker, having garnered numerous prestigious accolades, including two Emmy Awards, a Peabody Award, and a DuPont Award, for her outstanding work as a producer and director.

Her most recent film, Cameraperson, directed by Kirsten Johnson, had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in 2016, and was subsequently released by the esteemed Criterion Collection. Furthermore, Cameraperson was shortlisted for the Academy Awards in 2017, a testament to its critical acclaim.
