Biography

Marianne Bourg is a Luxembourgish-French actress, whose illustrious career began at a young age with her training at Luxembourg's National Conservatory for Drama.

After completing her high school education, she further honed her craft at Cours Florent in Paris, simultaneously pursuing a degree in literature.

Following her graduation, Marianne embarked on a journey of self-discovery, traveling throughout Asia and eventually settling in Cambodia, where she worked for a non-profit organization in Phnom Penh.

She later returned to Europe, enrolling in the University of Cambridge to study drama, and subsequently earning a Master's degree in Finance and Economics from EDHEC Business School.

However, Marianne soon realized that her true passion lay in acting, leading her to relocate to the United States to pursue a full-time acting career.

In 2013, she completed her MFA in Acting for Film at Los Angeles, and made her feature film debut in Gun Woman (2014).

Marianne has since appeared in numerous TV shows, including NCIS (2003),Sangre Negra (2016),Awkward. (2011),and Angie Tribeca (2016).

Her impressive filmography also includes the award-winning Snake Eyes (2015),for which she won the Best Actress award at the CMF, and was later screened at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.

In 2016, Marianne was invited to attend the Cannes Film Festival for her roles in Happy Tree (2016) and Plaything (2016).

Recent highlights of her career include the award-winning features films, The Room (2019),alongside Quantum of Solace (2008) actress Olga Kurylenko, and the Spanish comedy, ¡He matado a mi marido! (2018).

In addition to her acting career, Marianne has also ventured into producing and has become hooked on the process.

In 2021, she co-founded Artak Pictures, a female collective and production company, with other like-minded individuals.

Their first short film, Unforgotten (2023),won the Best Director award at the Burbank Film Festival, and they are currently working on two feature films.
