María Carmela Torrini, a talented and multifaceted individual, is a dual-citizen of Iceland and Italy, currently residing in Iceland. Since a young age, Carmela has been driven to express herself creatively through writing, acting, and directing a wide range of projects.
Her passion for filmmaking began at the tender age of twelve, when she wrote and acted in her first film in collaboration with the Icelandic Film School. This early experience ignited a burning desire to pursue a career in screen acting, and Carmela has been steadfast in her pursuit of this goal ever since.

In her pursuit of further education and training, Carmela studied film making at Fjölbrautaskólinn við Ármúla, where she created her second film, "Rules of the Game".
