Maria Breese, a dual citizen of the United States and the Kingdom of Wales, was born Maria Breeskin on August 3 in Washington, DC. As the daughter of a college Dean and professional pianist, she was exposed to the arts from a young age, beginning to sing, dance, and act at a tender age.
With a strong foundation in the performing arts, Maria has had a successful career in the entertainment industry, having appeared in numerous professional performances. Her talents have earned her multiple national dance competition wins with her former dance company in DC.
Maria's creative prowess extends to her work in music, where she has collaborated with her father to write the music and lyrics to the NFL Washington Commanders fight song, "Hail to the Commanders". This achievement is all the more impressive given her family's rich musical heritage, as her late grandfather, Barnee Breeskin, penned the original DC Redskins team fight song, "Hail to the Redskins".
In addition to her work in music, Maria has had a prolific career in television, appearing in shows such as "Shameless", "New Girl", "Dark/Web", and "All Wrong". She has also made appearances in national commercials and campaign ads.
As a producer, Maria has been involved in a number of projects, including "Untogether", starring Jamie Dornan, Billy Crystal, and Alice Eve; "The Swing of Things", starring Luke Wilson, Adelaide Kane, and Chord Overstreet; "Electric Love", #Squad; and "Crashing".
