Margo's passing was a result of her courageous battle against Breast Cancer.
Margo, in a loving partnership with her husband Frank, was blessed with two sons. Their eldest, Derek Brooks, went on to pursue a career in music, joining Jeff St John & Yama from 1967 to 1968. Unfortunately, Derek was forced to retire from the music industry due to health complications.
The youngest son, Richard Brooks, took a different path, opting to become a skilled potter. Under the guidance of renowned artists David Leach and Shiga Shigeo, Richard honed his craft. Like his brother, Richard too had to retire from his profession due to health issues.
Richard's personal life was marked by a 17-year marriage to Beate Brooks, which unfortunately ended in divorce. This union produced a beautiful daughter, Liah Midori Brooks, born in 1997.
