Writer and Director Marcus Warren embarked on a journey to pursue his passion for filmmaking, leaving his hometown of Detroit, Michigan behind to venture to the renowned Hollywood, California. Upon arrival, he threw himself into the world of television, joining the cast of the extremely popular American series 'In Living Color'. Starting from the ground up, Marcus dedicated himself to learning every aspect of production, gradually working his way up the ranks and absorbing as much knowledge as possible along the way. When the series came to an end, his natural affinity for directing drew him in, and he began to hone his skills behind the camera.
Simultaneously, Marcus continued to develop his writing abilities, creating music videos and working with a variety of accomplished actors, including Tom Cruise, Will Smith, and Anthony Hopkins, in his capacity as director and cameraman for international press coverage of various studio productions.
Currently, Marcus resides in both London and Los Angeles, having recently released his debut feature film, The Heavy, in cinemas across the UK in early 2010. He is now actively working on his follow-up projects, KICK and Of Flesh And Blood, while also developing future ventures in the world of filmmaking.
