Biography

Marcus Raboy, a talented Emmy-nominated Director and Producer, embarked on his directing journey in the realm of music videos, collaborating with influential hip-hop artists such as Naughty By Nature, Mary J Blige, Run DMC, and Ice Cube.

This association with Ice Cube subsequently led to the feature film Friday After Next, penned by and starring Ice Cube, with Raboy at the helm as director.

Fast-forward to 2018, Raboy directed the captivating "An Evening You Will Forget For The Rest of Your Life" for Netflix, a project that garnered him two Emmy nominations, as well as a nomination from the Directors Guild of America (DGA).

Throughout his illustrious career, Raboy has directed and produced numerous comedy specials for a diverse range of notable comedians, including Amy Schumer, Marlon Wayans, Judd Apatow, Patton Oswalt, Deon Cole, Whitney Cummings, and many others, for prominent platforms such as Netflix, HBO, and Amazon.

In 2023, Raboy received a DGA award nomination for his outstanding work on The Mark Twain Prize, a prestigious honor celebrating the legendary Jon Stewart.
