Marc Price is the co-executive producer and creator of the one-hour special "Green Collar Comedy Show" which premiered on Earth Day, April 22nd, 2010, on Showtime. This special showcases the environmental movement's sense of humor while delivering a vital message.
His production credits include executive producing 65 episodes of "National Lampoon's Funny Money" for GSN and producing two one-hour specials for Animal Planet, "Comedians Unleashed". He also produced and directed the hidden-camera comedy special "You're Cooked!" for the Food Network, featuring Todd Glass.
Marc was the producer, developer, and originator of the reality dating show "Star Dates" which ran for two seasons on E!. Starting as a stand-up comedian and actor in childhood, Marc guest-starred on "Archie Bunker's Place" and "One Day at a Time".
He broke out as a star playing "Skippy" on the hit 1980s NBC sitcom "Family Ties" opposite Michael J. Fox and Meredith Baxter. Marc went on to gain valuable production experience hosting 150 episodes of Disney Channel's "Teen Win, Lose or Draw" and starring in several feature films, including "Trick or Treat" with Ozzy Osbourne and "The Rescue" with Kevin Dillon.
Further developing as a producer, Marc executive-produced his own special for The Disney Channel and produced segments for "Real TV", "Ricki Lake", and "Inside Edition". He also wrote, produced, and starred in "The Midnight Hour", a late-night talk show for CBS.
Marc co-created and developed the sitcom "Some Like It Hotter" while on a deal at Ron Howard's Imagine TV; wrote, produced, and co-hosted "Athens on Location From Sprint" at the Greece Summer 2004 Olympics for NBC; and produced Endemol's live series "Midnight Money Madness" for TBS in 2006.
As a stand-up, Marc has opened for Jay Leno and Jerry Seinfeld and toured with Scott 'Carrot Top' Thompson and 'Weird Al' Yankovic. He performed at the first "Comic Relief" on HBO. Marc is currently touring the US with Playboy Playmate Julie McCullough, from "Growing Pains", on the "Beauty and the Dweeb Tour". They have received rave reviews in Las Vegas, Reno, and Florida.
While maintaining a busy producing and performing schedule, Marc has also made forays into new media, co-creating and managing the comedy website www.iJoke.com with legendary Improv owner Budd Friedman. He also produces online video for Reuters TV.
