Marama's journey in the world of stageshows and media began at the tender age of 11, as she started writing and directing her own productions, many of which went on to be performed across New Zealand.
Throughout her high school years, Marama dedicated herself to teaching children's drama, a passion that soon evolved into teaching media studies at the University of Waikato.
As she pursued her graduate degree in Screen and Media, Marama took on the role of managing Big TV, a community television station, where she honed her skills by writing and directing several short films, as well as producing over twenty television shows.
In 2005, Marama's entrepreneurial spirit led her to found Daydreamer Arts, an organization that has thus far focused on children's performing arts, but is soon set to expand into the film sector.
Throughout her illustrious career, Marama has received numerous awards for her services to the arts, and is currently nearing the completion of her first feature film.
