Mar Sodupe, a Spanish actress born in 1972 in Las Palmas, Spain, had a childhood marked by her family's transnational movements, as she spent her youth between Spain, Moscow, and London. This global upbringing would later influence her eclectic career trajectory.
After completing her education in Physics at Imperial College in London, Sodupe pursued a four-year theater training program at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Institute in Los Angeles and New York. This intensive training laid the foundation for her future work in the entertainment industry.
Following her training, Sodupe settled in Paris, where she began her professional career by collaborating with renowned French filmmakers, including Michel Blanc, François Dupeyron, Alain Corneau, Pierre Jolivet, Jean-François Richet, Julie Gavras, and Mario Fanfani. Her impressive resume boasts a diverse range of projects, featuring notable co-stars such as Daniel Auteuil, Gérard Depardieu, Virginie Ledoyen, Emmanuelle Seigner, Sergi López, and Vincent Lindon, among others.
