Manelck de la Parra, professionally known as Mane de la Parra, is a multifaceted artist born in Mexico City on December 23rd, 1982. He embarked on his musical journey at the tender age of 15, taking singing and guitar classes.
Mane's academic pursuits led him to the prestigious Berklee College of Music in the United States, where he graduated with a major in Music in 2005. His alma mater honored him as a distinguished alumnus in 2009.
Throughout his career, Mane has composed songs with renowned artists such as Jorge Villamizar, Miguel Luna, and Marco Godoy. His compositions have been recorded by popular artists including Margarita, Julión Álvarez, and Rayito Colombiano.
In 2011, Mane was invited to perform with the Philarmonic of the Americas Orchestra, conducted by his sister Alondra de la Parra, at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City. He has also showcased his talent at prominent carnivals and regional fairs in Mexico, as well as at renowned venues like the Teatro Metropolitan and Teatro Diana in Guadalajara.
Mane is currently promoting his latest album, "Girando," produced by Warner Music. In 2013, he participated in Univision's "Mira Quien Baila" and reached the finals.
As an actor, Mane has taken on leading roles in numerous telenovelas, including "Verano de Amor," "Niña de mi Corazón," "Esperanza del Corazón," "Cachito de Cielo," "La MalQuerida," "Corona de Lágrimas," and "Amor de Barrio." His film credits include "El Cielo en tu Mirada," "El Origen de los Guardinas," "A la Mala," and "Juán Apóstol, El Más Amado," in which he played the lead role.
Mane has also ventured into theater, starring as Emmanuel Mijares in the successful play "Mentiras."
