Malcolm Stewart's journey in the world of theater and film began after he completed his education at the University of Vermont and later attended Columbia University Graduate School in New York.
He made his Broadway debut in the iconic production of "Dracula" alongside the renowned actor Frank Langella, followed by notable performances in "Bedroom Farce" and "Torch Song Trilogy".
Throughout his career, Malcolm has had the privilege of performing at esteemed theaters across America, including the prestigious Williamstown Theatre Festival, Baltimore's Center Stage, The American Stage Festival, and Portland Stage.
In 2009, he made a significant impact in the film industry by being the only actor featured in three films at the Sundance Film Festival, including "Moon" alongside Sam Rockwell, the psychological thriller "Grace", and "Helen" with Ashley Judd.
In recent years, Malcolm has continued to stay busy in the entertainment industry, with notable roles in the Netflix series "A Series of Unfortunate Events" and the popular television show "Riverdale", where he played the character Francis DuPont.
Currently, he is enjoying his role as Dennis Peck in Hallmark's "Chesapeake Shores".
Malcolm is married to Dr. Thecla Schiphorst, the director of the School of Interactive Arts and Technology at Simon Fraser University, and is the proud father of Kelly Stewart, M.D.
