He attended the esteemed Victoria College, a prestigious private school that has been frequented by many Arab and Egyptian celebrities, including renowned filmmakers such as Yousef Chahine and Shady Abdel Salam, as well as actors like Omar Shereif, Ahmed Ramzy, and Samir Sabri.

Maher Sabry's academic pursuits led him to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature and drama from Cairo University in 1993. In addition, he dedicated his time to teaching children drama, arts, and English, as well as publishing cartoons and poetry.
