Maggie O'Farrell, a renowned novelist from Northern Ireland, has made a significant impact in the literary world. Her debut novel, After You'd Gone, garnered widespread acclaim and won the prestigious Betty Trask Award. This was followed by another notable achievement, The Hand That First Held Mine, which secured the 2010 Costa Novel Award.
