Madi's journey in the music industry began in her teenage years, with her first performances at local cafés in Greenwich, Connecticut, and Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where she was raised. At the tender age of 15, she started playing gigs, and by 16, she had joined the renowned School of Rock in Philadelphia, which led to her feature in the prestigious Rock School.
Upon graduating from high school, Madi pursued her passion for music at the esteemed Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she recorded her debut album with the band Talk Radio. This marked the beginning of her professional music career. In 2007, she released her first solo album, Skin and Bone, after meeting Kyle Ryan and collaborating on an album in Hawaii.
Madi's musical journey continued as she relocated to Nashville, releasing two more albums, 10 Gun Salute (2007) and Far From The Things We Know (2010). Her music gained popularity, leading to her signing with Tiny Ogre Records, which resulted in the release of her album Plastic Moon in January 2012.
