Maceo Smedley, a talented young individual, was born on February 7, 2007, in the vibrant city of Houston, Texas. His remarkable journey in the entertainment industry began in the summer of 2012, when he was just five years old, by signing with Pastorini Bosby Talent. This marked the start of his impressive career, as he went on to book his first national commercial in October of the same year.
As a young child, Maceo quickly became a familiar face, appearing in numerous commercials both locally and nationwide. His talent and dedication caught the attention of casting directors, leading to his breakthrough role in WGN America's Underground. In this critically acclaimed series, Maceo played the recurring role of James, a young slave, alongside Jurnee Smollett-Bell and Aldis Hodge.
