Terence McDonald, professionally known as Mac McDonald, is an American actor born on Long Island, New York, USA. He is widely recognized for his portrayal of Captain Hollister in the BBC TV series Red Dwarf and his frequent appearances as American characters in British TV shows. With a strong personal preference for comedy and music, Mac began his stage career after leaving school.
