Lyon Sim, a talented actor with over a decade of experience in the film industry, has been making waves with his impressive portfolio of projects. His journey in acting began over 10 years ago, and he has since appeared in a variety of films, including the critically acclaimed "Tadpoles," which won the Jury Prize at the Festival del film Locarno in 2013.
However, it is his latest project, "Faeryville," that marks a significant milestone in his career as he takes on the lead role in a feature film. The premiere of "Faeryville" took place in Los Angeles, showcasing Lyon's versatility as an actor.
Despite his youthful appearance, Lyon often uses theatre as a medium to play characters closer to his age. One of his most notable roles was leading the cast of "Makanplace," Singapore's first musical, which toured in 2011 and was staged in Jakarta. He also had the opportunity to lead a cast of 17 others in "Sex Cells," the first musical ever staged at the Science Centre Singapore.
Some of Lyon's favorite screen roles include Donkey in "V1k1: A Techno Fairytale," which won the Gold REMI Award in the Fantasy/Sci-Fi category at the 2011 Houston WorldFest, and Oliver in "Cubik," which took home the Grand REMI Award at the 2010 Houston WorldFest.
When he is not acting, Lyon is busy writing a feature-length script. He is also eagerly looking forward to the opportunity to work with acclaimed directors Paul Thomas Anderson and Christopher Nolan on one of their upcoming films.
