Lynette Sheldon, a highly acclaimed Acting Teacher, Coach, and Theater Director, established her Studio in New York an impressive 18 years ago. Renowned globally for her advanced teaching methods rooted in the Stella Adler and G. Stanislavski systems of Acting, she has developed a series of groundbreaking Acting Exercises that have transformed the lives of her students.
Lynette's own journey as an actress began in her teenage years at The Ensemble Theater & Bryon Syronin in Australia, where she honed her craft. She then relocated to New York to study under the tutelage of the esteemed Stella Adler, primarily, and later with renowned coaches Larry Moss and Michael Howard.
With a successful acting career spanning 25 years, Lynette has worked extensively in Theater, Film, and Television between Australia and the United States. Her extensive experience has allowed her to work alongside numerous talented individuals in the industry.
Lynette's impressive list of students includes several award-winning and nominated Film Actors and Directors. These notable individuals include Jordi Vilasuso, who won an EMMY Award, Zoe Ventoura, with two Logie Nominations, Paige Davis, with two EMMY Nominations, Mike Vogel, Bren Foster, Dichen Lachman, Samantha Noble, Rebecca Clay, who won the Best Actress Award at the 48HR Film Festival in 2010, Tanc Sade, a Young Emerging Talent in Australia in 2002, Ellouise Rothwell, who received an AFI Award Nomination, Simon Brook McLachlan, Kate Hoolihan, Christina Amphlett, Warwick Allsop, Loretta Harms, who won the Best Feature and Best Director at the Gibtown Florida MPA Crystal Reel Award and the San Francisco International Film Merit Award, among others.
Currently, Lynette teaches Master Classes between New York and Sydney, Australia, sharing her expertise with aspiring actors and filmmakers.
