Furthermore, he has emerged victorious in the Shore Film Fund and Fresh Voices TV Pilot competition.
Hassel's creative endeavors extend to filmmaking, having written and directed the sci-fi short film "Into the Dark," which received widespread acclaim and went on to win multiple awards for acting, writing, and directing. The film has been showcased at over 70 film festivals worldwide.
His most recent endeavor, the award-winning horror short film "The Son, the Father...," secured a production deal after winning the Hollyshorts Film Festival competition for best screenplay. The film has screened at over 60 film festivals, earning multiple awards in the process. Hassel is currently working on his first feature as a writer/director.
