Luciana Paluzzi is a renowned Italian actress, celebrated for her captivating portrayal of the enigmatic and deadly SPECTRE assassin, Fiona Volpe, in the iconic James Bond film, "Thunderball".

Initially, Paluzzi had auditioned for the coveted role of the lead Bond girl, Dominetta "Domino" Petacchi, but the producers ultimately decided to cast Claudine Auger, altering the character's nationality from Italian to French and renaming her Dominique Derval.

Luciana Paluzzi's impressive career in cinema commenced with an uncredited walk-on part in the 1954 film, "Three Coins in the Fountain".
