Biography

Lucia Scarano, formerly Lucia Forte, relocated to Atlanta in late 2017, and as a result of her work, she frequently travels all over the world. She has had the privilege of collaborating with a diverse range of talented actors, including the renowned Kristen Chenoweth, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Viola Davis, Alex Wolff, Alex Neustaedter, John Goodman, Steve Carell, and Lillian Lehman, to name a few, as well as directors such as Tom Shadyac, Daniel Barnz, Barry Levinson, James Sadwith, and Meg Ryan in her directorial debut, Ithaca.

Born in Buffalo, New York, Lucia attended Crestwood High School in Mountaintop, Pennsylvania, and later pursued her higher education at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, where she earned a degree in Theatre, Art History, and Italian Studies. During her formative years in the early to mid-1980s, Lucia trained in New York City at the prestigious Terry Schreiber Studios. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Lucia is also a trained Montessori teacher.

Fluent in Italian, Lucia harbors a deep affection for her second home, Italia, and longs for the opportunity to spend extended periods of time there. She takes great pride in her dual citizenship with the United States and Italy, a status that reflects her strong connection to her heritage.
