Lucia Edwards, a multifaceted individual, was born on June 22, 1987, in London, a city that has been a melting pot of diverse cultures, reflecting in Lucia's own heritage, which is a blend of English, Italian, and Slovak. Her mother, a writer and professor of aesthetics, and her father, a fashion designer, have undoubtedly played a significant role in shaping Lucia's creative inclinations.
Lucia's foray into the world of acting began with her involvement in the youth theatre, where she honed her skills and developed a passion for the craft. At the age of 18, she enrolled at the prestigious Central School of Speech and Drama, where she further refined her acting abilities. Her theatre credits include notable productions such as Anna Karenina, where she played the titular role, Crime and Punishment, in which she portrayed Sonya, and Wedekind's Lulu, where she brought the character of Lulu to life.
Lucia's talent and dedication did not go unnoticed, and she was awarded a scholarship by Anna Strasberg, which enabled her to pursue her studies at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York. Apart from acting, Lucia has always been drawn to the world of production and writing, and she has successfully combined these interests by creating The Power of Love theatre production, which was directed by Ilmar Taska and premiered at the Courtyard Theatre in London.
Lucia's versatility as an actress was further showcased when she made her debut in Bollywood with a role in Naughty @ 40, alongside Govinda. She has also appeared in several television series, including Borgia, Terra X, and Zurich crime.
