Biography

Lorna Tucker's professional journey began in her 20s, working behind the camera and embarking on tour bus adventures with renowned bands such as Unkle, Lupe Fiasco, The Cult, and Queens of The Stone Age, creating captivating tour videos and music promos.

As she honed her skills, Lorna transitioned into longer format storytelling, directing documentaries, writing scripts, and crafting innovative video art projects for esteemed clients including Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Nike, Redbull, and ShowStudio.

In January, her first feature documentary, Westwood - Punk Icon Activist, premiered to widespread acclaim at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival and has since been showcased at prominent film festivals such as True/False and CPH:DOX 2018.

Westwood offers a comprehensive look at the life, fashion, and activism of one of Britain's most iconic and original designers. The film has received rave reviews, with audiences flocking to theaters across the UK to experience this thoroughly entertaining cinematic masterpiece.

This summer, Lorna's feature documentary, Amá, will be released. Due to its sensitive nature, the film has taken over nine years to bring to fruition. Produced by Raindog Films and set to be released through Dartmouth Films, Amá is a gentle yet powerful exploration of the sterilization abuses suffered by Native American women across the United States over the past 60 years.

Lorna's upcoming projects include several screenplays, with the first scheduled to enter pre-production with Raindog Films this summer. Once again, Lorna will take the director's chair, solidifying her position as a talented and versatile filmmaker.
