Biography

Lois Hall was born in a small town in Minnesota in 1926, but her journey took a dramatic turn when her family relocated to Long Beach, California. It was here that she discovered her passion for theater, taking on roles as a set designer, stage manager, and head electrician. This experience was only the beginning, as she went on to receive a scholarship at the prestigious Pasadena Playhouse, where she became enamored with the world of acting.

Lois's personal life was just as eventful, as she married Maurice Willows in 1953 and had three daughters with him. The family relocated to the desert and later to Hawaii, where they spent seven years before returning to their Beverly Hills home. Maury and Lois have two grandchildren, and tragically, Maury passed away from cancer in 1995.

Despite the challenges she faced, Lois remained committed to her faith and her community. She and her husband were active members of the Baha'i Faith, working tirelessly for world peace and unity. Lois even served as an elected member and secretary of the administrative body for the Baha'i's of Los Angeles, as well as volunteering an astonishing 40 hours a week at the local center.

In addition to her faith-based work, Lois also returned to the film industry, appearing in seven more films and ten television shows. Her most recent endeavors have included being a special guest at various film festivals across the country, where she has reconnected with old friends and made new ones. Lois's dedication to her craft, her family, and her community is truly inspiring, and her story is a testament to the power of perseverance and passion.
