Lissa Carandang-Sweeney was born in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania to her loving parents, Mylene and Raymond, who instilled in her a strong foundation for her future endeavors. As a young adult, her passion for acting began to flourish in her 20s, initially taking root in Philadelphia before blossoming in the vibrant city of New York. Her captivating debut as a featured bar girl in the third season of Amy Sherman-Palladino's critically acclaimed series, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, marked the beginning of her determined pursuit of on-camera work.
When she's not bringing characters to life on screen, Lissa Carandang-Sweeney can be found indulging in a variety of hobbies and interests. She is an avid reader, often getting lost in the pages of a good book. Her creative side is also expressed through painting, a medium that allows her to convey emotions and tell stories through vibrant colors and textures.
