After graduating, Lisa returned to local theater and maintained a career as an engineering manager for many years. In 2007, she landed her first film break with a short student film, which marked the beginning of her transition to the film industry.

She continued to act, produce, and take on behind-the-scenes roles, including boom operator, 1st AD, and props.
