She has been a valuable partner in the international distribution organization Cinetel Films, working as a producer on numerous films for Cinetel and other companies worldwide.

Born in Chicago, Hansen began her entertainment career as a rock and roll DJ in Gillette, Wyoming. She later moved back to Chicago, where she joined Chicago Teleproductions as a sales and physical production executive. Ultimately, she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of making feature films.
